WINCHESTER- James Wood avenged last week's 7-6 loss to Clarke County in non-district baseball action Wednesday at R. Charles Hott Field.
The Colonels (2-2) scored all of their runs in the fourth inning against the Eagles (2-2), with four of the runs coming on two-run singles from Nick Goode and A.J. Eubank.
Zach Webster and Justin McDonald teamed up for a six-hitter on the mound. Webster (1-0) pitched four innings, allowing one run, five hits and one walk and striking out one, and McDonald pitched three, surrendering one run, one hit, one walk and striking out one.
