Van Sickler will play for the Namur Angels in the city of Namur, Belgium.

The Angel's season starts in mid-April and is roughly 50 games plus playoffs.

Van Sickler was contacted directly by the team's coach and will be used primarily as a starting pitcher but could also play the field and hit.

Van Sickler was working in the admissions office at Shenandoah but quit in early February to train for an upcoming scouting showcase in June. He was expecting that tryout to be his last shot at playing pro ball.

As part of his contract, Van Sickler will coach a youth team. He is also required to take French speaking lessons.
