WINCHESTER — James Wood erased a two-run deficit with two runs in the fourth inning and another in the fifth to beat Handley 5-4 on Tuesday afternoon.

Colin Benner went five innings for the Colonels (6-8, 3-5 Northwestern District), striking out five and scattering five hits for the win.

Senior A.J. Eubank went 2 for 3 with an RBI and fellow senior Kyle Hevner finished 2 for 2 with two runs scored. Handley junior Taylor Sandroni, who struck out five and allowed seven hits over six innings, took the loss for the Judges (1-14, 0-8).
