LEESBURG — Addison Barber pitched five shutout innings and the Colonels had a six-run fourth inning in beating Tuscarora in Monday’s non-district season opener.

Barber allowed one hit and two walks while striking out seven batters for James Wood (1-0). Noah Keller finished off the last two innings, allowing three hits and one walk while striking out three.

Adam Kennedy had a two-run single, Dan Moss went 2 for 4 with an RBI single, and Nick Goode went 1 for 1 with a run and three walks.
