WINCHESTER — James Wood lost to Warren County on Thursday, falling to 12-6 this season.
Warren County went ahead 3-1 after three innings and scored another three runs in the top of the sixth to secure the win.
The Colonels' Jake Woskobunik hit a solo shot in the second to make it 2-1 before doubling in the sixth to drive in Kaden McCullough. He finished 2-3 with 2 RBIs and a run, while recording six strikeouts, four walks, two hits and two earned runs in 4.1 innings on the mound.
