STERLING — James Wood rallied from a 5-1 deficit to beat Dominion on Monday.

The Titans scored four runs in the fourth inning to take a 5-1 lead, then the Colonels (9-4) scored four runs in the fifth to the the game 5-5.

With two outs and no one on in the sixth, Tyler Day (2 for 2, two runs, RBI) singled and moved to second on an error. After Brady Smith walked and Day stole third, Kaden McCullough (1 for 3) had an RBI single to left field to score Day and make it 6-5 Colonels. 

Parker Kerns (1 for 2, run) entered the game in the bottom of the sixth inning and pitched two perfect innings to earn the save, striking out four batters in the process. Smith (1 for 1, walk, run) preceded him and earned the win by striking out three batters in 1.2 perfect innings.
