WINCHESTER — James Wood scored its first three runs in the fourth inning and went ahead 4-0 through five innings during its win over Skyline on Monday. The Colonels improved to 8-2.
James Wood put its first three runs on the board thanks to a Kaden McCullough RBI single, an RBI bunt by Avery Phelps and Tyler Day scoring on a wild pitch. The final run came via a McCullough RBI grounder.
Nolan Landry pitched the first five innings and struck out seven batters and gave up three walks, four hits and no runs.
