WINCHESTER — Parker Kerns struck out nine batters and allowed just one hit and no walks in a shutout five-inning victory over Fauquier on Thursday.
Kerns also went 2 for 2 with two runs, an RBI and a walk for the Colonels (4-0), who led 3-0 after one inning, 5-0 after two, 9-0 after three and 13-0 after four.
