WINCHESTER — Nolan Landry and Brady Smith combined on a four-hitter to lead James Wood to a win over Liberty on Wednesday.
Landry allowed one earned run, three hits and one walk and struck out eight batters in five innings, and Smith permitted one earned run, one hit and one walk and had three strikeouts in two innings.
James Wood (3-0) scored four times in the third inning for a 4-1 lead and led 6-1 after four, 7-1 after five and 8-2 after six.
