WARRENTON — Logan Bower and Parker Kerns combined to allow only three hits as James Wood defeated Fauquier on Friday.
The Colonels (5-2) led 2-1 after four innings and added three runs in the fifth.
Bower pitched five innings and allowed one unearned run, one hit, no walks and struck out five batters, and he also went 3 for 4 with two runs, three RBIs and two stolen bases. Kerns pitched the final two innings, allowing no runs, two hits, no walks and striking out three batters.
