NOKESVILLE — James Wood's last-inning rally came up a run short in a loss to Brentsville on Friday.
The Colonels (10-8) trailed 3-1 entering the seventh. They loaded the bases with no outs on two singles and a hit batter. They got a run across on a groundout, but the contest ended on an offensive interference call at second base which gave the Tigers a double play on another grounder.
