WINCHESTER — Brock Whipkey tossed a three-hitter as James Wood notched a victory over Fauquier on Tuesday.
Whipkey allowed one earned run, while walking one and striking out seven. Leading 2-1, the Colonels (10-6) scored twice in the fifth to gain some breathing room. James Wood also finished with three hits.
