STEPHENS CITY — Jared Tinsman and Hunter Entsminger combined on a four-hitter to lift Sherando (18-1, 11-0 Class 4 Northwestern District) to a win over James Wood (7-11, 3-7) on Wednesday. The Colonels scored in the seventh on an RBI double by Jayden Nixon, but Entsminger then entered the game and earned the save by retiring the final two batters on a strikeout and foul pop to first baseman Michael Usa.
