WINCHESTER — James Wood senior Mitch Craig pitched a five-inning two-hitter to lead the Colonels baseball team to a mercy-rule shortened 10-0 victory over Handley on Monday at Bridgeforth Field.

The Class 4 Northwestern District game was originally scheduled for James Wood’s R. Charles Hott Field, but was moved because Bridgeforth’s Field was in better condition.

Craig (1-2) did not allow a walk and struck out five batters for James Wood (1-3, 1-1 district).
