WINCHESTER — Dominion scored four runs in the fourth inning to take a 5-0 lead and went on to defeat James Wood on Monday.

The Colonels (0-3) — who lost 7-3 to Dominion on Friday — managed only three hits against Mario Canestraro (6 1/3 innings, one run, five walks, seven strikeouts).

Hayden Cunningham, Tanner George and Will Moore had the hits for James Wood. Mitch Craig started took the loss, giving up five runs (all earned), six hits and one walk in 3 2/3 innings. He struck out three batters. Aden Payne allowed one unearned run, two hits, two walks and struck out five batters in 31/3 innings.
