WINCHESTER — James Wood rallied from a 4-1 deficit after three innings to defeat Harrisonburg in Conference 21 West action on Tuesday.

The Colonels (6-10, 1-3 conference) scored one in the fourth inning, three in the fifth and five in the sixth to take a 10-4 lead.

Joel Smith (3-4) earned the win with four innings of relief. He allowed two hits and one run and struck out six.

Smith went 2 for 3 with two RBIs at the plate to help lead James Wood’s 12-hit attack. Tanner George (2 for 2 with two runs and an RBI), Hunter O’Gorman (2 for 4 with two RBIs) and Brady Renner (2 for 4) also led the way.
