WINCHESTER — Two Williamsport (Md.) pitchers combined to no-hit James Wood Monday night at R. Charles Hott Field.

Matthew Harsh went the first five innings, striking out nine and walking two, and Camryn Keller struck out two and walked one over the last two innings.

James Wood’s Elijah Smith shut the Wildcats out for three innings, but Williamsport touched the Colonels (1-1) for four runs in the fourth inning. Smith (0-1) gave up three runs (two earned) in 31/3 innings.

Ben Russo reached base twice for James Wood on a walk and hit-by-pitch, and he also stole a base.
