WINCHESTER — Reid Barber drew a full-count, bases loaded walk with two outs in the bottom of the eighth inning as James Wood rallied from an 8-0 deficit to beat Musselman (W.Va.) Wednesday.

For the Colonels (11-7) in the eighth, Eli Warren reached on an error, Joel Smith had a hit and Kris Malsch received an intentional walk to load the bases.

James Wood trailed 3-0 heading into the bottom of the third inning, but Malsch pitched five innings of one-hit, shutout relief to earn the win. For the Colonels — who scored three runs in the third, three in the fourth and two in the sixth — Cohen Kerns went 3 for 5 with two doubles, and KaCee Duggan, Brady Hepner and Zach Thompson each had two hits.
