WINCHESTER — James Wood rallied with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to defeat Spring Mills (W.Va.) in a non-district game at R. Charles Hott Field on Wednesday night.

KaCee Duggan walked and stole second to start the inning and Brady Hepner (2 for 4) followed with an RBI single to tie it. Hepner stole second and scored on a walk-off single by Zach Thompson.

Eli Warren and Cohen Kerns each went 2 for 4 for James Wood (8-4).

Duggan got the win, pitching the final inning in relief.
